Mid-century Modern Redux

When decorating your flat, looking for innovative inspiration can be quite the task. Where do you start? An interior designer? Pinterest? Google image search?

If you’re into modern, clean interiors, you can find heaps of inspiration in old magazines from the 50′s such as Time or Life, all freely available online with Google Books. Rather than trying to find vintage pieces, which can be pricey, why not find modern equivalents for a fraction of the cost?

We’ve taken inspiration from a 1949 design from interior designer T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings using modern finds amongst some of today’s more affordable home furnishings retailers. Check it out!
